In need of HTML help; need HTML and graphics
tutorial? If any of you all are really good with HTML, webpage designing, and graphics, please email me, I really need help on how to make my site look impressive. The link to my site is:

http://badluck416.tripod.com/

I really need to learn how to make it better fast. I'd appreciate anyone's help!

And please don't tell me to just search it in the search engine, I've already tried that and pretty much learned what they have to say. Thanks!

First of all, if you need a free site, move it to Geocities. Tripod is so full of junk advertising that it loses the visitors interest and the worsens the appeal of your site.

Secondly, learn HTML from the links the other posters provided. It's not tough to learn.

And, obviously you haven't searched well enough if you're still asking. Have you done a search on HTML tutorials? You'll find what you need there.

HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the language that your Internet browser reads to show you the Web.

There are Web sites that can help you learn HTML. Here are two:
http://www.htmlgoodies.com/primers/html/
http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/

A. Using Word: After creating a Word document, click File, Save As. In the Save As dialogue box, click the down arrow in the Save as type drop-down list box (near the bottom of the dialogue box) and select ?Web Page? from the menu. You will then get the option to title the page. Your Web page should display just as it does in Word.

To put your Web site onto the Internet, you will need server space. A server is a specialized computer devoted to putting pages on the Web. Most Internet service providers such space?check with your service provider to learn how to utilize it.

B. Macromedia's Dreamweaver ($399) creates professional pages, but it can be tricky to learn. http://www.macromedia.com/software/dreamweaver ).

C. Adobe?s GoLive ($399) offers a free 30-day trial.

D. Microsoft's FrontPage ($199) is not for all Web hosts. Be sure that before you sign up with a host to post a Web page, find out how the Web host handles FrontPage.

E. There are Web sites that offer HTML tutorials and templates. Here are a few:

http://www.billybear4kids.com/htmlhelp.htm
http://www.lissaexplains.com/
http://www.w3schools.com/html
http://www.htmlgoodies.com
http://www.webdesign.org
http://www.nvu.com

To learn more about Web technologies, visit the W3C?s Web site. W3Schools has free tutorials that are clearly written with step-by-step instructions. It also has a tool that will make sure your pages meet HTML standards.
