hi all

not really a computer literate, been using a company pc for a while. Have discovered that I cannot download programs or add any because I am not the adminstrator. When I asked my company was told that this is restricted,
would you know of any way to get around this?

thanks
Which OS are you using?
BTW please check if you are voilating any terms and rules.
There are several programs you can download onto a CD that can be used as workarounds. Download them from your home computer, put one on a CD, bring the CD, insert it at boot up, and use the BIOS settings to run the program. Alternatively, if you run in safe mode, you may be allowed to create an administrator which you can then log on as.

Well if its company PC, than they also have restricted access to BIOS. And also its not good to violate things as I am Admin here and also in a company. LOL. But any way for knowledge normally Admin rights cant be assigned until you login to OS as Admin user. But still you have a chance to crack it through DOS. Boot your PC through DOS and remove the SAM files which are encrypted. But I am not sure this process you can perform.
Also search on Digg for an article on cracking XP Passwords.
