well it depends on person, but I don't believe having a girlfriend is bad, 'cause a gf isn't only "spending money", "having troubles", etc.
If you have a good girlfriend and your relationship is good too, you will avoid almost all those 10 reasons. A gf can help you in many times, she's your friend too, and we can't forget that you "need" a girlfriend sometimes.
And I don't agree with reason 6: I highly prefer to be a HOT guy instead a cool/cold one.

i guess it is.. better. not to have a gf.. cze well.. having one.. makes you all the more worried.. and stuff.. i mean.. you just keep thinking about her all the time.. you divert from the career side of your life.. and stuff!
well I highly prefer to have a girlfriend, but not any girl, 'cause those kinda problems happens when you pick up any girl. If you find a girl that is pretty, a nice person, etc. I'm sure you'll have no problem with her and you'll enjoy your life better than anytime.
For example, I know a girl (that isn't my girlfriend 'cause she's dating a guy, but I'd love her to be my gf) that is kinda perfect: she's very very very pretty (I could post a photo her, but I don't think it's needed), intelligent, is a VERY lovely person (I doubt anyone could have problems with her, she's really perfect), etc. --> I would love to have this girl by my side anytime, no matter where and when. This is one example that is BETTER to have GF intead of not having one.
